As part of the European Green Deal, the European Commission is looking at the development of sustainable product and standards.
EMO is an active member of various working groups such as

• CEN TC/125 Masonry
  • Working Group 2 - Mortar
  • Working Group 4 - Test Methods
  • Working Group 5 - Application of external rendering and internal plastering
• CEN TC/67 Working Group 3 - Products for installation of ceramic tiles
• CEN TC/88 Working Group 18 - External thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS)
• CEN TC/104 Subcommittee 4 - Protection and repairs of concrete structures

The chairman of TC 125 - Working Group 2, the central European committee for the standardisation of gypsum, plaster and masonry mortar, is provided from our ranks.
When it comes to legislation, it is always EMOs concern that it takes into account the product diversity of our members.
Therefore, EMO is the partner of the European Committee of Standardisation (CEN) and EOTA. On these committees, product and processing norms were outlined and defined.
